97 Parts, 97 Years, One Fragile Masterpiece

·

Some builds hit you before you even read the description. FS Leinad’s entry for the Rogue Olympics — themed around the word “Fragile” — is a 97-year-old figure hunched over a walker, constructed from exactly 97 of the allowed 101 parts. Let that sink in for a second.

LEGO MOC of a 97-year-old figure hunched over a black walker, built with tan slopes and white ice cream scoops for hair

The part usage here is absurd in the best way. White ice cream scoops become wispy hair. A pink frog piece forms a drooping nose. Tan slopes and wedge plates layer into a stooped coat, while the walker itself is a masterclass in bar and clip construction — black Technic bars snapped together into a frame that somehow looks both functional and delicate. Even the scattered tan tiles underfoot suggest a worn floor. The whole thing leans forward with a gravity that perfectly sells the theme. Fragile, indeed.
