Beatrix Potter’s world is deceptively hard to brick. It is soft watercolor, tiny waistcoats, hedgerow mischief, and characters who need to feel like storybook illustrations rather than mascot suits. Kez_Bricks takes a charming first swing at that with Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-Duck, and Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle gathered as brick-built display models.

What I like here is that this is clearly a prototype with ambition. The trio is not trying to be minifig-scale scenery; they are the scenery, the cast, and the invitation to remember those books. Peter gives the project its obvious hook, but Jemima and Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle make it feel properly Potter. You need the duck’s upright elegance and the hedgehog’s cozy domestic weirdness or it is just “cute rabbit in blue jacket” territory.
Kez Bricks, also named Josh in his profile, says this early build laid the foundation for later Peter Rabbit creations, and that tracks. You can see the AFOL brain testing character proportions, animal silhouettes, and how much personality can survive the jump from ink-and-wash illustration into studs and slopes. That is my favorite sort of LEGO Ideas seed: not polished to death, but already full of storybook possibility.
