Varkhan, the Witch King. Now there’s a name that sounds like it comes with a cursed throne and absolutely terrible parking. Builder N.A.B.E_mocs gives this LEGO character a title worthy of a fantasy boss encounter—and I’m already wondering whether my inventory contains enough healing potions.
Tagged as a creature, monster, and sculpture, Varkhan sits at the intersection of character building and fantasy worldbuilding. That’s a fun patch of the LEGO hobby: an original name can suggest a whole campaign before anyone writes the opening quest.
There’s no accompanying description to supply the royal backstory, so I won’t invent his conquests—or pretend to identify clever connections without the images to inspect. My question for the builder would be simple: did Varkhan begin with a character concept, or did a particular piece suggest the Witch King? Either route is a rabbit hole I’d happily follow. Preferably with a wizard in the party.
