All Hail the Neon Robocourt

·

Planet Robotica’s The Royal Robocourt is the sort of LEGO court scene where every advisor looks like they was assembled by a royal engineer with a drawer full of excellent greebles and zero patience for boring limbs.

First: the queen. That trans-neon yellow wheel behind the head reads like a crown, a halo, and maybe a very fancy satellite dish all at once. Paired with the black torso, squared shoulders, and glowing little chest tile, she has instant "do not make me reboot you" authority.

Second: the court actually feels like a court. The surrounding bots are not copies with swapped heads; they each have jobs. There is a lanky attendant with chain details, a squat rolling servant, staff-carrying guards, and little side robots that look ready to announce visitors or vaporize them, depending on the etiquette breach.

Third: the parts usage is wonderfully fussy. Clip hands, binoculars, bar elements, droid arms, transparent cones, and tiny round tiles keep turning into knees, optics, shoulders, torches, and ceremonial nonsense. That is the good stuff: decorative detail that still communicates character.

Ian’s architecture brain shows here, too. The group has enough symmetry to feel formal, but enough oddball silhouettes to keep the whole thing buzzing. It is a royal portrait, a robot parade, and a parts-bin magic trick wearing a crown.
