Beards, Baths, and Frozen Mountain Business

·

Forget gold. Forget mithril. In Eero Okkonen’s Heitur Pottur, the real treasure of the dwarven halls is a steaming natural hot spring tucked into the Frozen Mountains. And honestly? That tracks. A proper dwarf has priorities, and silky-soft beard maintenance is clearly worth defending with axe and attitude.

Beards, Baths, and Frozen Mountain Business

Eero has always had a knack for characterful fantasy builds, and this one bubbles over with personality. The rocky setting feels cold and craggy, while the warm pool gives the whole scene a wonderfully cozy contrast. I especially love how the dwarves are treated less like background figs and more like tiny, stubborn owners of the spa. You can practically hear one of them grumbling, “No boots in the bath!”

The premise is delightfully silly, but the build sells it with strong atmosphere and smart parts work. It’s exactly the kind of Frozen Fantasy idea that sticks in your head: rugged mountains, guarded resources, and a punchline you can comb through.
