Blue Beast, Yellow Warnings

·

mocbyendo has let the Blue Beast out of the cage, and this cyberpunk Mazda RX-7 SA22C looks like it rolled straight out of a neon-soaked touge run and into a back-alley drift meet. The first-gen RX-7 already has that lovely wedge-shaped charm, but this build cranks the attitude knob until it snaps clean off. Slammed stance? Check. Exposed rear aggression? Oh yes. Enough blue bodywork to make a Blacktron pilot jealous? Absolutely.

What I really dig here is how much personality is packed into the details. The bumper delete at the rear gives the car that raw, half-finished-but-totally-on-purpose drift aesthetic, with custom welds and a tow hook selling the idea that this machine has seen some things. And then there’s the gold tsurikawa hanging out back, because nothing says “street weapon with questionable life choices” like a dangling ring of doom.

The interior sounds just as tasty, with a multi-piece roll cage, fully kitted dash, and even a fire extinguisher tucked in for those “just in case the boost becomes a campfire” moments. That kind of interior work is easy to skip at this scale, but mocbyendo clearly knows that a proper race car needs to look convincing from every angle, not just the hero shot.

I’m also a sucker for builds that lean into a sketch or concept and translate it into bricks without sanding off the weird edges. Inspired by artwork from xskyree.artx, this RX-7 keeps that illustrated cyberpunk energy while still reading instantly as an SA22C. The low ride height, exaggerated rear treatment, and layered body shaping all feel like smart choices rather than random greebling.

It’s mean, it’s blue, and it’s probably violating several imaginary inspection laws. In other words: perfect.
