Tatooine builds usually chase twin suns, dusty speeders, and enough tan plates to make a BrickLink order sweat. Eddie Marshall heads underground instead, recreating the Lars Homestead’s subterranean interior, which is such a good pull from A New Hope. It is not the flashy part of Luke’s world, but it might be the most lived-in: round rooms, quiet corners, and that strange blend of farm life and sci-fi plumbing.

What makes this subject click in LEGO is the contrast. The outside of the homestead is all harsh desert minimalism, while the inside has to feel sheltered, domestic, and a little weird. This MOC leans into that smaller-scale storytelling, giving us Luke’s home before destiny kicks the front door in. I always love Star Wars builds that pause between the laser blasts and let the world breathe a bit. This one has that cozy Tatooine basement energy, and yes, I now want blue milk.
