evancelt beams us straight into a cozy little slice of TNG-era exploration with Star Trek Away Mission, a quick display build from BrickSlopes that still manages to hit all the right sci-fi buttons. There’s a shuttlecraft, a rugged alien landscape, a properly posed away team, and—most importantly—lights. Because if there’s one thing Starfleet loves, it’s dramatically glowing equipment on a mysterious planet.
I’m especially fond of the compact storytelling here. The shuttle gives the scene its anchor, while the minifig crew spreads out just enough to suggest scans, science, and possibly one red alert too many. The terrain keeps things simple but effective, framing the action without stealing the spotlight. It feels like the opening five minutes of an episode where everything is definitely fine and absolutely nothing strange will happen.
For a “quick” MOC, this has plenty of convention-table charm. Engage!
