Some spaceships get grand military designations. Karf Oohlu Lite gives us The Leg`a`many Flying Boxcar, a name that makes me want to check whether my interstellar freight has shipped. Forget the admiral’s flagship; I’m here for the space train energy.
This microscale LEGO spacecraft also comes with a wonderfully familiar builder confession: the two “worst spear guns” ended up in the two most prominent positions, and Karf only noticed after posting. The culprits? “Lego Imps,” naturally. As explanations for post-photography discoveries go, I’ll accept it.
That little complaint points to one of microscale building’s great challenges: individual elements carry a lot of responsibility. A spear gun can contribute mechanical detail without demanding a whole assembly, but its placement suddenly matters an awful lot. Small ship, big scrutiny.
I appreciate the decision to leave it posted, grumbling and all. Sometimes the right finishing technique is simply stepping away before the imps demand another rebuild.
