The World Cup trophy is already one of the weirdest pieces of sports design: all upward motion, tiny human forms, and a globe trying very hard to escape its own pedestal. So seeing it translated into LEGO at the Paris Fan Zone feels wonderfully inevitable. Mulderville USA’s shot catches the scale of the thing immediately, with that gold-on-green silhouette planted like a brick-built exclamation point at Parc de la Villette.

What I love here is how much this works as both sculpture and spectacle. The trophy shape is instantly readable from a distance, but the LEGO-ness gives it that extra layer of nerdy joy: stacked curves, faceted gold surfaces, and the kind of public-display confidence that says, yes, football culture could use more studs. Add the giant branded arch and family build-zone energy, and this is less a model on a table than a whole summer event built around play.
