Some LEGO vehicles get a model number. This one gets a name worthy of charging into battle. Parm Brick’s LEGO Land Rover Defender M-ATV “Bucefalus” certainly isn’t short on ambition—or syllables. I’m calling it Bucefalus before the full title needs its own parking space.

The premise puts a familiar off-road name into modern military territory, a subject firmly in this builder’s wheelhouse. Parm Brick is Italian AFOL Jordan Parmegiani, whose interests stretch from city creations to military vehicles, with both original MOCs and modified sets in the mix. That’s a hobby résumé I can get behind: collect, build, tinker, repeat.
Vehicle mashups like this send my inner brick nerd straight toward the construction questions. How do you balance recognizable automotive character with a different mission? Where does shaping do the heavy lifting, and where can one clever element sell the idea? There are three detail shots available for fellow construction detectives. Magnifying glasses optional; nerding out encouraged.
