Campaign Season Has Arrived

·

There’s nothing like a good castle campaign to make a pile of bricks feel like a whole political problem. +Khorne’s Campaign Season, Tales of Old drops us into the Brethren of the Brick Seas prequel world, where every outpost, banner, and raised eyebrow feels like it might be one bad sentence away from becoming a skirmish.

Campaign Season Has Arrived

What I love about builds tied to roleplay stories is how much heavy lifting the scene has to do. It isn’t just “here is a castle thing.” It has to suggest history, faction tension, travel, weather, chain of command, and probably someone making a terrible decision in boots. This one has that lived-in campaign energy: not shiny parade-ground medieval, but boots-on-the-road medieval.

The BOBS universe has always been a fun corner of LEGO storytelling because the builds act like illustrated chapters. You get the architecture and minifig action, sure, but also the sense that this moment belongs to a larger map full of rival claims and old grudges. +Khorne clearly understands that sweet spot where a MOC becomes both model and narrative prop.

If you like your castle builds with a side of lore, this is exactly the kind of scene worth lingering over.
