Mantis.King’s Breakthrough Class Support Carrier is exactly the kind of microscale spaceship that makes my tiny plastic admiral hat sit up straight. Built for Mobile Frame Zero: Intercept Orbit, this cruiser isn’t just a cool slab of sci-fi hardware — it’s meant to be the center of a fleet, the spacegoing equivalent of a modern aircraft carrier. That’s a big job for a little build, and it sells the idea beautifully.
I really dig the purposeful silhouette here: broad, tough, and bristling with enough implied systems to make any wargaming table feel instantly more dramatic. The listed loadout — phalanx, frame accelerators, radome, and all — gives the ship a nice “stats meet studs” personality. It feels playable, not just displayable, which is always a sweet spot for microscale sci-fi.
Now I’m very ready to see those supporting frigates. A carrier needs its entourage, after all.
