Legomania’s Service Tunnel Surprise is the sort of Clone Wars vignette that understands suspense is mostly plumbing. The setup is deliciously tactical: a tiny team sneaking through the guts of a droid base on Hypori, trying to reach the computer servers before the maintenance crew realizes their quiet shift has become a very loud problem.

What sells it for me is how specific the scenario feels. This is not just “clones versus droids,” it is a vertical ambush built around access tunnels, ladders, server bays, and jetpacks. Legomania even calls out borrowing and adapting wire techniques for the build, which is exactly the kind of industrial greebling that makes a Star Wars interior feel lived-in, serviced, and mildly unsafe. Perfect.
I also love that the mission log frames Commander Wolfe as the first one up the shaft, cover blown and blasters hot. A compact vignette with a whole campaign hiding inside? That is my kind of surprise inspection.
