After a long dry spell, even a tiny puddle deserves a victory lap. captain_j03’s Puddling along sends a 6-wide Volkswagen Typ 166 Schwimmwagen straight into the good stuff, and the whole scene has that perfect toy-photography magic: small model, big mood, just enough real-world mess to make the bricks feel alive.
The Schwimmwagen is already one of those wonderfully strange vehicles that looks like a bathtub got serious about off-roading, so placing it nose-first in a puddle is exactly the right joke. I love how the reflection becomes part of the build without being built at all. That is the kind of composition trick LEGO photography can pull off so well: the model does the character work, the environment supplies the punchline, and suddenly a humble little car feels like it has been waiting all summer for this moment.
