kjw010’s Play Time is exactly the kind of scene that earns its “Sweet Scenes” contest label without feeling saccharine. A lioness trying to grab a quiet nap while the cubs have very different ideas is such a clean, instantly readable story, and it is one of those animal vignettes that works because the behavior feels so real. Big cats may be majestic, but parents dealing with overexcited children is apparently universal across the savanna.

What I like most here is the balance of tenderness and mischief. You can already picture the lioness giving up on any hope of rest while the cubs climb, pounce, and generally treat her like living playground equipment. That is a lovely setup for LEGO because it lets expression, pose, and composition do the storytelling instead of relying on a huge footprint. Kristel has a knack for charming builds, and this sounds like another one that leans into warmth, character, and just enough chaos to make it feel alive.
