Crescentius SH takes the Brikkelauget “footprint” prompt and turns it into a neat little archaeological mystery. The archaeologist has a wonderfully clean setup: a 16×16-stud scene, a person studying the traces left behind, and that irresistible question every good dig site should raise, “What walked here, and how long ago?” It is a compact idea, but the theme gives it instant story power.

What I like most is how nicely the concept fits the footprint constraint. A footprint is evidence, not action, which means the fun comes from interpretation. That is perfect for an archaeologist vignette. You do not need a huge ruin or a sprawling excavation to make the scene work. A small patch of ground, a careful observer, and one meaningful mark can suggest an entire discovery. Builds like this remind me how effective a 16×16 footprint can be when the idea is sharp. Tiny footprint, big “what happened here?” energy.
