DOGOD Brick Design’s nEO_IMG_DOGOD_Pokemon_Dragonit_06 gives Dragonite the kind of entrance this big friendly dragon deserves. The description frames it as Dragonite: The Guardian’s Arrival, with Dragonite flying from the birthplace of Pokémon across the ocean to Taiwan, where it serves as the official representative of Pokémon Center Taipei. That is a wonderfully specific brief, and it suits the character beautifully. Dragonite has always had that rare mix of power and softness, like it could cross a sea in minutes and then politely help you carry groceries.

What really grabs me is that the build began with the eyes. That is exactly the right instinct for a character like Dragonite. The body shape matters, the wings matter, the colors matter, but if the face does not feel kind, the whole model misses the point. Brick-built eyes are risky because they can easily become too stiff or too cartoony, but when they land, they give a model real soul. Pair that with a vivid expression and a head tilt, and you are aiming for personality rather than just accuracy.
I also like the arrival concept. Dragonite descending from the sky to greet fans gives the model a clear moment to capture, which is often what separates a statue from a scene. Add interactive limbs, and the build becomes even more toy-like in the best way, letting the character keep some of that Pokémon mascot warmth.
The Taiwan connection adds another layer too. This is not just “here is a Dragonite.” It is Dragonite as a gentle guardian for a place, a fan landmark, and a community. That makes the build feel celebratory, and honestly, Dragonite is perfect for that job.
