Some builders find their niche and stick to it. Karf Oohlu Lite looked at niches, laughed, and decided to build everything instead.

This microscale rocket — titled Ignition On… — is a masterclass in doing more with less. The fuselage is barely a handful of pieces, but the real magic is that exhaust trail: a sweeping plume of white round studs curving away from the launchpad like frozen smoke. A single trans-blue accent on the nose and a red thruster glow at the base give the whole thing a retro sci-fi punch that punches way above its brick count. It’s tagged microspacetopia, and it absolutely belongs there.
Based in Brisbane, Australia, Karf Oohlu Lite has quietly amassed over 1,000 builds on Flickr — and the range is staggering. One day it’s a pocket-sized rocket on a display stand, the next it’s a fully rigged Napoleonic artillery limber complete with three horses in harness and uniformed riders. That kind of genre-hopping takes serious building chops and a parts collection that probably has its own postcode.

With a Lovecraft quote in the bio and a portfolio that refuses to sit still, this is a builder worth following.
