Mantis.King’s Mushroom Men are the sort of tiny mechs that make me want to clear the desk, grab some dice, and start arguing about line of sight. Built for that Mobile Frame Zero / microscale wargaming sweet spot, these little Frames have a fantastic squat silhouette, like forest fungi that discovered hardpoints and immediately chose violence.
The big charm here is the color experiment: Medium Nougat gives the machines a wonderfully organic, almost spore-grown vibe without losing the sci-fi read. It is a tricky shade to use in mecha, but paired with darker mechanical bits it feels fresh instead of fleshy. I especially like how the rounded cap shapes sell the “mushroom” idea while the compact limbs keep everything game-piece sturdy. Tiny builds live or die on readable shapes, and these guys read loud and clear from across the battlefield.
