djokson’s retriever is exactly the sort of robo-pup that makes me want to throw a Technic axle across the room and see if it brings back something cooler. Tagged as dog, Bionicle, mecha, and drone, this little critter sits in that wonderful djokson sweet spot where creature design and mechanical weirdness shake paws.
The color mix of blue, yellow, and green gives it a toy-like spark without softening the build’s synthetic edge. I especially love how the Technic and constraction language keeps everything feeling functional: limbs that read as engineered rather than sculpted, a body that suggests some compact service-bot purpose, and just enough canine attitude to earn the name. It is not a literal retriever so much as the future’s idea of one, which is very much my kind of pet.
Bonus points for the title, too. Sometimes one word is all you need when the silhouette does the barking.
