Most grasshoppers nibble the garden. This one apparently brings its own fire support. Brisbane builder Karf Oohlu Lite calls this LEGO microscale armoured car Lil` Grasshopper, and its stated equipment is gloriously unsubtle: a “dual 30mm brushcutter weapon system.” Someone has taken lawn maintenance several escalation levels too far.

That name-and-description combo does some lovely world-building. You don’t need a page of fictional service history to imagine this little vehicle patrolling the shrubbery, issuing stern warnings to dandelions. I’m already picturing the procurement meeting: “Yes, but can it handle the verge?”
Microscale vehicles are a particular LEGO pleasure because the brief is so unforgiving: suggest a whole machine with precious little room to work. An armoured car adds another balancing act—selling both transport and trouble without the luxury of a sprawling model.
The real hook here is that collision of tiny scale and oversized attitude. Lil` Grasshopper sounds positively cuddly. The brushcutters suggest we should admire it from behind something substantial.
