Somewhere between classic castle and a school with frankly alarming safety standards sits A Hogwarts Hallway by Peter Hart, better known on Flickr as peterhart143. A wizarding corridor is a wonderfully specific subject for a LEGO diorama: not the whole castle, not the skyline, just a little slice of the journey to your next potentially disastrous lesson.
Peter dates this build to around 2020 and notes that, although Harry Potter MOCs haven’t been a major focus, they aren’t too different from classic castle. That’s the crossover appeal for me. Medieval LEGO building already supplies the architectural vocabulary; Hogwarts gives it a timetable, a dress code, and considerably more opportunities for detention.
With Star Wars, Zelda, and The Lord of the Rings among Peter’s inspirations, this detour into wizard territory makes perfect sense. I’ll happily take the scenic route to Charms. Being late is what moving staircases are for, right?
