Eero Okkonen’s Lure asks a very dangerous question: could you resist it? Absolutely not. This Bio-Cup anglerfish has that perfect deep-sea mix of creepy, clever, and oddly charming, with a glowing little snack dangling just where your common sense used to be.
The theme for Round 3 is “Sleight of Hand,” and Eero plays it beautifully. The build pulls your eye straight to the lure, while the fish itself lurks behind in all its toothy Rahi-adjacent glory. I love how the Matoran/BIONICLE vocabulary gives the creature an organic-but-alien texture, especially around the fins and jawline. It feels less like a fish wearing armor and more like some ancient thing that grew out of spare parts at the bottom of the ocean.
It’s classic Eero: elegant shaping, weird parts doing exactly the right weird job, and just enough menace to make you lean in before realizing that was the plan all along.
