Hop, Drop, and Dinner’s Served

Frogust keeps delivering the good stuff, and mmbmaxx’s Catch of the day is exactly the kind of tiny LEGO critter build that makes me grin at my desk like a total brick goblin. It’s compact, characterful, and clearly designed by someone who knows that a frog doesn’t need to be huge to have big swamp energy.

Hop, Drop, and Dinner’s Served

What I really enjoy here is the toy-design mindset: clean shapes, readable silhouette, and just enough clever part usage to make you lean in for a second look. The best frog builds always walk that tricky line between smooth cartoon charm and unmistakable amphibian weirdness, and this one lands the hop nicely. The title does a lot of heavy lifting too — suddenly the whole scene has a punchline, a snack, and probably one very unlucky bug.

Small MOCs like this are a reminder that you don’t need a thousand pieces to tell a complete little story. Sometimes all it takes is a frog, a meal plan, and excellent timing.
