My high score? Usually three initials entered badly while somebody waits for their turn. But Arcade, a LEGO MOC by short&plastic, has a title that sends me straight back to the button-mashing years. Some words practically come with their own electronic soundtrack.
Behind the handle is Ryan, an adult LEGO fan from Astoria, Oregon, whose interests include minifigures and photography. His profile also features a Guillermo del Toro quote: “You don’t have to believe they are real people. You have to believe in them as characters.” That’s a pretty terrific mission statement for anyone pointing a camera at tiny plastic people.
With no build description supplied, I’ll leave the construction secrets and any gaming references for a closer look rather than invent a parts breakdown. Follow through to Flickr and give Arcade a look. I’ll be over here mentally feeding quarters into a machine that absolutely, definitely cheated on that last life.
