In the vast galaxy of Star Wars, few characters embody the tragic complexity of the Clone Wars era like LEGO Barriss Offee. A Mirialan Jedi Padawan trained under Luminara Unduli, Barriss first won fans in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Her green skin and black geometric tattoos reflect Mirialan tradition. Initially portrayed as a healer who preferred study over combat, her story darkened when disillusionment with the Jedi Order’s war role led her to bomb the Jedi Temple and frame Ahsoka Tano. This betrayal made her a compelling anti-hero. Recent Tales of the Empire episodes explore her possible redemption, solidifying her as a symbol of the Force’s light and dark sides.
Why Fans Love LEGO Barriss Offee
Enthusiasts treasure the LEGO Barriss Offee minifigures for capturing her nuanced character in brick form. Despite only three official variants, each reflects a different chapter of her journey. Detailed printing on torsos, culturally accurate tattoos, and dual-expression heads allow builders to recreate everything from peaceful temple scenes to her fall from grace. Their rarity and emotional depth make them prized collectibles that spark deep Star Wars discussions among fans. There are 3 LEGO Star Wars minifigure versions of Barriss Offee.
2010 Debut: sw0269
The first LEGO Barriss Offee (sw0269) appeared in 2010 with a black cape, hood, tan torso, and printed brown legs. The double-sided head shows a calm expression on one side and slight strain on the other. Accessories include a blue lightsaber and braided hairpiece. Today it commands around $13 on the secondary market.
2012 Variant: sw0379
In 2012, LEGO released sw0379 with a striking dark blue cape and hood. Retaining the tan torso and dual-faced head, this version appeared exclusively in the Geonosian Cannon set. Its scarcity pushes aftermarket prices above $20, and the deeper cape color subtly hints at her growing inner darkness.
2018 Refresh: sw0909
The latest version, sw0909 (2018), introduced a white torso with gray accents and a printed skirt piece over lime green legs. The updated yellow head better showcases her tattoos. Found in the Jedi and Clone Troopers Battle Pack, this accessible figure trades at roughly $11 and remains popular for army-building and modern detailing.
Beyond Official Sets
LEGO Barriss Offee minifigures frequently appear in fan MOCs recreating the temple bombing trial, alternate redemption arcs, or hypothetical Inquisitor encounters. Their limited official appearances only increase their allure for dedicated collectors.
