Long John, Small Scale, Big Beep-Beep Energy

“Long John Roadrunner” sounds like a pirate who traded his ship for something with considerably better acceleration. Karf Oohlu Lite’s LEGO creation has the name sorted before we even get to the parking space. And with a microscale vehicle, that parking space needn’t be particularly generous.

Long John, Small Scale, Big Beep-Beep Energy

I’ve got a soft spot for this corner of LEGO building. Shrinking a vehicle isn’t simply a matter of using fewer bricks; it means deciding which shapes do the heavy lifting and which details can stay in the parts bin. Every connection spends precious space. Every extra plate can change the proportions. Tiny builds, surprisingly big decisions.

The supplied listing doesn’t include a description, so I won’t pretend to have a parts breakdown or a secret chassis diagram. What we do have is a wonderfully oddball title and an invitation to investigate. Follow the Flickr link for a closer look at this Brisbane builder’s small-scale motoring. Beep beep? Arrr? Perhaps both.
