If those magenta flags pop up on the horizon, do yourself a favor and get out of the lane. NikiFilik’s Wasteland Racer has exactly the right flavor of post-apocalyptic silliness: part dune buggy, part battering ram, and part rolling excuse to bolt every dangerous-looking bit onto a tiny brown chassis.
The hook here is the brown tricycles, which is such a wonderfully AFOL reason to build: buy a weird part, then make the model justify the purchase. They tuck into the bodywork with a nice bit of NPU energy, helping sell the layered junkyard armor around the hood and cockpit. I also love the clustered exhausts, the drill-like front spikes, and the way those bright flags cut through all the rusty earth tones. It is Mad Max by way of the bulk LEGO bin, and Bubba Blaster looks entirely too pleased about it.
