Some LEGO Star Wars adventures begin with a boxed set. This one begins with an RPG challenge—and that’s a pretty good excuse to empty the parts bins. Sentinel_Brix built Trask_signature_03 for the SW Factions RPG’s Path of Water Limited Time Challenge, taking the action to Trask rather than reaching for another helping of Tatooine sand.
That setting gets my Mon Calamari antennae twitching. Trask’s watery corner of the Star Wars galaxy offers plenty of storytelling potential: working ports, questionable company, and the distinct possibility that your next ride needs a serious maintenance check. Not every galactic adventure needs a Death Star looming overhead.
The RPG context is the hook here. Building to a shared story gives a MOC a job beyond looking good on a shelf: it becomes part of somebody’s unfolding adventure. I’m always up for that kind of brick-built worldbuilding. Follow the Flickr link to inspect Sentinel_Brix’s challenge entry.
