Devid VII’s Mindsurfer & Mindbender looks like a pair of tiny walking thought experiments that escaped from a very serious sci-fi lab and immediately chose violence. The matching yellow cockpit blocks give them a great chunky silhouette, while the black mechanical cores keep everything feeling dense and machine-like.
What I like most is how much attitude is packed into the legs. Those red lower limbs have a wonderfully insectoid bend, with tiny orange feet that make the whole stance feel spring-loaded. The companion drone bits on either side are a nice bonus too, like these mechs brought their own floating backup singers, except the song is probably laser noises.
The mirrored pair also gives the build a neat rhythm: same DNA, slightly different energy. It is compact, readable, and just weird enough to make the title feel earned.
