Moped? I barely know ’ped!

·

Eero Okkonen’s Selecius-Moped 2000-X is what happens when a humble scooter looks at a Ninjago superbike and says, “Yes, but make it rounder and sillier.” Built as Tawa’s motorbike for Eero’s Vembu series, this chunky little ride leans hard into oversized wheels, bulbous bodywork, and exactly zero concern for practical steering. Honestly? Respect.

Moped? I barely know ’ped!

The big treat here is the shaping. Eero has always had a wizardly way with constraction and character builds, but this moped shows how refreshing a simple side quest can be. Those tulip windscreen inspirations come through in the smooth front fairing, while the Bionicle-flavored parts give the bike a toyetic, almost creature-like personality. It feels less like a vehicle and more like a loyal mechanical pet that loudly putters into battle.

It’s goofy, clean, and wonderfully self-aware — a tiny parody of giant LEGO motorbikes with just enough elegance to make the joke land.
