NAPALM keeps the Slizer fire burning

·

Pohaturon is quickly becoming one of those builders I watch for when I want something a little stranger, sharper, and more design-forward than the usual sci-fi fare. NAPALM fits that lane beautifully. With tags pulling in Slizer, Throwbot, Technic, constraction, robot, and drone all at once, this sounds like exactly the sort of hybrid machine that lives on silhouette, attitude, and smart parts interplay rather than sheer bulk.

What makes Pohaturon especially interesting is the mix of influences behind the work. There is obvious affection for the weirder constraction lineage, but also the kind of parts fluency you would expect from a Bionicle enthusiast and former New Elementary contributor. That combination tends to produce builds that feel deliberate. Not random greebles, not nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake, but modern designs that understand why those older LEGO systems still have such a distinctive visual punch.

I also love that NAPALM seems to sit alongside PYRE and SKYLINE as part of a loose family. Even the names feel aggressive, cinematic, and slightly ominous. That goes a long way in making a build feel like part of a larger imagined world. If SKYLINE had sleek aerial menace, NAPALM sounds like the hotter, meaner sibling, and I am absolutely here for that energy.
