Lord-Oblivion’s MANIA feels less like a character build and more like a thought that clawed its way out of a parts bin. The Flickr description loops on that phrase “In my head,” and the model absolutely sells it: a creature/robot presence that reads as twitchy, mechanical, and deeply uncomfortable in the best possible Bionicle way.

Toni A has always had a knack for making constraction elements feel organic without sanding off their weirdness, and this one leans hard into that specialty. The build sits in that delicious zone between monster, machine, and abstract self-portrait, where every armor shell and connector seems to be under pressure. It’s noisy, spiky brain-goblin energy rendered in plastic.
I especially love when a MOC uses Bionicle not just for cool silhouettes, but for mood. This isn’t just “big scary robot.” It’s a little itch you can’t reach, built out of ball joints and bad vibes.
