One-hit wonders blooming in the bog

·

Mantis.King has taken a humble bit of tabletop terrain and made it unexpectedly delightful with Marsh Flowers. These microscale plants were built for Mobile Frame Zero: Rapid Attack, where each stalk counts as 1 Hit, but the best part is that they do not look like mere game markers. They feel like proper little pieces of alien scenery, the sort of thing that can make a battlefield look alive instead of just functional.

I always enjoy builds like this because good terrain design is a quiet art. You need something readable at a glance, sturdy enough for play, and interesting enough that people actually want it on the table. These flowers seem to hit all three. The shapes sound clean, purposeful, and just stylized enough to feel right at home in the crunchy little world of brick-built wargaming. There is also something deeply satisfying about a custom plant design that is both pretty and tactical. Dangerous flowers are fun. Dangerous flowers with rules attached are even better.
