Space rovers are already delightful little boxes of wheels and science, but Gnarlicbread_ has gone and asked the important question: what if NASA had more external gills? Axo-Tron Rovolotl rolls into the Axo-Tron Collab with exactly the kind of goofy-genius energy that makes LEGO Space feel fresh again.
The concept alone is a winner: axolotl plus rover equals a squat little explorer that looks ready to trundle across some candy-colored moon pond. I’m especially charmed by how the creature cues and vehicle language seem to meet in the middle — not just an animal with wheels slapped on, but a proper space machine with personality. That’s the sweet spot for theme mashups like this.
With a name like Rovolotl, you know you’re in for some prime brick-built silliness, but the build has real charm under the pun. Axo-Tron forever? Honestly, I’m listening.
