Sand, Scouts, and Olive Drab Ominousness

Devid VII’s AKU DESERT PATROL rolls in with that wonderful “something is definitely about to go wrong” energy. This isn’t a flashy battlefield scene — it’s the tense bit before the action, where the scouts are out front, the convoy is still offscreen, and every dune suddenly feels suspicious.

The olive green hardware looks properly mean against the desert palette, with just enough military chunkiness to feel armored without turning into a rolling brick. I especially like how the composition sells the story: these operatives aren’t posing for a brochure, they’re checking ridgelines, watching the horizon, and making sure whatever corporate cargo is coming behind them actually makes it through.

Devid has a knack for lived-in sci-fi militaria, and this patrol feels like one slice of a much bigger, dustier world. The desert is quiet… which, naturally, is never a good sign.
