Before LEGO Sonic started sprinting onto shelves, Spartanbrick was already tinkering in the Green Hill garage. This chunky little tribute to Silver Sonic from Sonic 2 on the Game Gear — or Mecha Sonic, depending on which corner of the fandom you ask — gets a proper display base in the wonderfully named Scrambled Egg Zone.
The robot has that great old-school boss energy: broad shoulders, pointy ears, piston-y limbs, and just enough awkward menace to feel ripped straight from an 8-bit showdown. I especially like how the compact shaping captures the Game Gear sprite without over-smoothing it into modern Sonic polish. It still feels crunchy in the best possible way.
The diorama gives the build room to breathe, turning what could have been a standalone figure into a tiny boss arena. Spartanbrick notes this one uses a mix of LEGO and Gobricks parts, but the spirit is pure fan-build fun: running out of figures, maybe, but definitely not out of ideas.
