Palixa And The Bricks goes straight for the heartstrings with Hatching Duckling, an AdoraBuild entry that sounds perfectly at home in the Cuddly Characters category. A duckling already has a built-in unfair advantage on the cuteness scale, but catching it mid-hatch gives the scene that extra little story beat: new life, tiny beak, cracked shell, immediate “aww” reflex. It is simple, but simple is exactly right for a subject like this.
What I like about hatching builds is how much expression can come from the contrast between smooth shell shapes and a small character breaking through. The duckling only needs to peek out with the right amount of curiosity and fluff-brained energy for the whole model to land. This is the kind of LEGO character work where restraint matters more than spectacle. Keep the idea clear, make the little face charming, and let the viewer melt accordingly. Mission probably accomplished.
