Takere, the skipper, feels like the kind of Matoran who absolutely has a route, a schedule, and three emergency plans, right up until he steps off the boat and trips over his own feet. Pohaturon drops this little lava pilot into Ta-Wahi with a Lava Skiff that instantly sells the gag: agile on molten rivers, hopeless on solid ground.
What I like most is how naturally the Bionicle/Technic vocabulary turns into a working character scene instead of just a figure on a stand. The skiff gives Takere a job, a silhouette, and a bit of story momentum, while the MayToran scale keeps everything compact enough to feel toyetic. It is a tiny slice of Mata Nui transportation lore, built with just enough absurd practicality to make me want a whole commuter fleet dodging magma flows before breakfast.
