Small, Green, and Ready to Intervene

·

Apparently, waiting for inspiration comes with fighter support. LegoScarz built this Green Microscale Interceptor as a little diversion while an idea for something more ambitious warmed up its engines. I love that: the supposedly minor project gets finished, earns its wings, and turns out to be worth sharing all on its own.

Small, Green, and Ready to Intervene

Microscale spacecraft are a lovely exercise in restraint. You’re asking a handful of decisions to communicate an entire machine, without a minifigure cockpit doing the scale-setting for you. It’s the LEGO equivalent of sketching a spaceship in the margin of your notebook—except the sketch can occupy valuable desk space afterward. Speaking as someone whose desk has surrendered to plastic, that’s a feature.

The builder is also taking name suggestions. My vote? Emerald Dart. Short, suitably spacey, and probably something you don’t want appearing on your targeting computer. Sometimes the warm-up build deserves its own squadron.
