There’s nothing like a burst of holy radiance to ruin an undead ambush. Yoguchi’s Divine Smite! drops a gold dragonborn paladin into a shadowy forest scene and lets the D&D drama do the rest. The macro photography is doing some heavy lifting here, but in the best way: the shallow depth of field turns a compact LEGO setup into a misty tabletop encounter where you can practically hear the dice clatter.

I’m especially into how the glowing spell effect becomes the center of the whole composition. That golden blast plays beautifully off the paladin’s armor and dragonborn head, while the dark foliage frames everything like the party just wandered a little too far off the road. It’s a small diorama, but it has big “roll initiative” energy.
Yoguchi mentions returning to minifigure photography roots with this one, and you can feel that love of character-first storytelling. Critical hit? Absolutely.
