Ezreel’s Orbweaver – Plague Mech: Spinneret looks like it skittered straight out of a bio-mechanical fever dream, and I mean that as the highest possible compliment. This creepy-crawly contraption leans hard into the Bionicle side of the parts bin, with a silhouette that feels all fangs, limbs, and bad intentions.
What really sells it is the layered armor. The plating doesn’t just sit on the frame; it overlaps and curls like a hardened carapace, giving the whole mech that “do not poke with a stick” energy. I’m especially into the compact, hunched posture, which makes the build feel less like a person in a suit and more like some infected machine-beast waiting to spring.
Ezreel is part of a larger Plague Mech resurgence here, and this Orbweaver absolutely earns its place in the swarm. Gross? Yes. Cool? Also yes. Would I keep it in a jar? Absolutely not.
