There’s something deeply satisfying about seeing the First Order’s cold, angular architecture translated into LEGO — and Star Maks absolutely nails it with this custom recon base inspired by the Oscillator structure from Starkiller Base.

The dark grey and black palette is moody and militaristic, exactly the kind of imposing aesthetic the First Order demands. What sells the whole build is the sense of scale — those walls feel thick and fortress-like, and the detailing across the surface gives it a lived-in, operational vibe rather than just a flat slab of plates. The angled panels and greebling work together to create that unmistakable Imperial-era brutalism the sequel trilogy leaned into so hard.
Star Maks specializes in custom Star Wars builds, and it shows. This isn’t someone slapping bricks together — there’s clear intentionality in how the base is staged, photographed, and composed. The kind of builder who makes you want to scroll through their entire Flickr stream.
