Shinmayn’s Toa of Tantalum strides out of the Periodic Table of Toa collab looking like the sort of hero you call when the volcano starts getting ideas. Tantalum is known for being hard, dense, and corrosion-resistant, and this Bionicle build captures that vibe with a compact, armored silhouette that feels ready to shrug off just about anything.

What I’m really enjoying here is the balance between classic constraction energy and a more modern MOC sensibility. The shaping reads cleanly from head to toe, with armor layered in a way that suggests weight without turning the figure into a brick-built refrigerator. The proportions have that unmistakable Toa swagger, but the details keep your eyes moving, especially in the torso and limb construction.
The Periodic Table of Toa is such a wonderfully nerdy collab concept, and this entry proves there’s still plenty of elemental fun left in the Bionicle toolbox.
