Mantis.King’s Genderqueer Bane takes a big, mean BattleTech inspiration and compresses it into the pocket-sized language of Mobile Frame Zero. That is already a fun trick: the Bane is not exactly a delicate machine, so getting that slab-sided, battlefield-bruiser attitude across at microscale means every plate and hinge has to pull its weight.

The Pride 2026 color work gives the build its real spark. Instead of reading like a standard gray sci-fi walker with a flag pasted on, the genderqueer palette feels baked into the frame’s identity. Lavender, white, and green are bold colors for a war machine, and that contrast makes the chunky silhouette even more memorable. I especially like when tiny mecha builds still feel playable, and this one has that tabletop-ready vibe: clear stance, readable mass, and just enough Battletech menace to imply trouble two turns before it arrives.
