The Drawer Rebellion

·

Every rebellion starts somewhere, and this one apparently starts in the parts drawer. o5councilcosmasyosie keeps things wonderfully scrappy with a lone freedom fighter kitted out for trouble: tan helmet, pouch-heavy torso work, blue fatigues, and a rifle that looks oversized in exactly the pulpy toy-box way.

The Drawer Rebellion

What I like here is the unpolished charm. The figure reads less like a pristine display model and more like the kid-at-heart version of a Star Wars side character who absolutely has a backstory. The little side gear and stacked bits behind him give the shot a makeshift supply-cache vibe, like he has just ducked out from behind a barricade and grabbed whatever weapon was close. Sometimes a MOC does not need fifty angles or a UCS budget. Sometimes it just needs a minifigure, a drawer find, and a tiny spark of rebellion.
