There is something wonderfully campaign-ready about The Stalwart Spruce Treant, like it could wander straight off the shelf and into a Dungeons & Dragons session with a slow creak and one very concerned eyebrow. buildsandguilds has been building a whole grove of treants for the May You Bloom challenge, and this fifth entry leans into the spruce idea without turning into a plain old Christmas tree with legs.

What I like most is the personality baked into the concept. This is not an angry forest boss waiting to flatten the party. It feels bashful, sturdy, and kind, which is a much harder tone to hit in LEGO than “big monster smash.” The branching silhouette does a lot of work, but so does the color-story thinking: each treant in the series gets its own identity, and this one has that evergreen, winter-hardy energy while still feeling warm.
Builds & Guilds has a real knack for tabletop creature design: readable at a glance, packed with lore, and just odd enough to make you want the stat block. I would absolutely let this spruce fellow guard my village. Or my parts bins.
