Some days you’re a peaceful little plantman, photosynthesizing your way through a fantasy garden. Other days, Karf Oohlu Lite unleashes The Dragonfly, and suddenly those leafy retirement plans are looking mighty short.
I love when a silly premise gets treated with proper LEGO seriousness, and this critter has exactly that energy. Dragonflies are already weird little alien helicopters, so pushing one into “scourge of the plantmen” territory feels completely natural. The best fantasy builds often start with a tiny absurdity and then commit to it brick by brick.
Karf’s work tends to live in that delightful space between creature feature and joke you slowly realize is actually very well built. With 1,000 photos in the archive, there’s clearly a long history of oddball imagination at play here — and this bug-eyed menace fits right in.
Beware the garden. The dragonfly patrol has wings, attitude, and probably no mercy for sprouts.
