Under a hundred pieces. That’s all it took for BigBrickStan to nail one of nature’s most ridiculous-looking birds — the blue-footed booby.

The star of this build is the part selection. That white egg element does serious work as the booby’s plump body, while brown curved slopes tuck in neatly as folded wings. Up top, a pair of bright yellow studs lock in as beady little eyes above a perfectly angled gray beak. But the real magic happens below: medium azure bar elements form those iconic blue legs, terminating in claw pieces that capture the booby’s signature webbed feet with surprising accuracy for such a compact build.
Built for Rogue Olympics Week 2 with the prompt “Blue,” this 97-piece bird sits on a rocky base with scattered foliage — simple, effective, and packed with personality. Sometimes constraints breed the best creativity.
